WHO WE ARE
The Council for Union County Families is dedicated to collaborative problem-solving in order to assure that local social services for families are planned, developed, and delivered based on a cooperative, coordinated, family- centered, culturally sensitive, and community-based approach.

Family representatives have an opportunity to model for other parents and consumers of services how to work in partnership with public and private agencies to help children reach their potential.
Parent Representatives Qualifications:

Must have a youth receiving or have/has received services from an agency represented on CUCF
-
Must have an interest in creating a community where children and families thrive
-
Cannot be employed by an agency represented on the Council
COMMITMENT
We value the voice of families and the important perspective they bring to discussions and decisions that affect families in our community.

Attend at least 9 of 11 meetings each year.

Serve at least one term. Terms of service begin July 1 and end June 30.

Represent and speak on behalf of other parents/guardians.

Offer opinions on the impact of proposed policies, activities, etc. on families.

Assist in educating the public about Council goals and activities.
